I purchased this because we received a flatware set as a housewarming gift and needed somewhere to store the set. The brand of flatware we have is Reed and Barton. There are some really nice Reed and Barton storage chests out there, but they were out of our price range. To be honest, this was the least expensive chest we could find. It was packed very well in the box, wrapped in tissue paper and surrounded by styrofoam. It looks very high quality and all of our flatware pieces fit in there nicely. Don't know why this wasn't as expensive as the Reed and Barton!
